As you probably know I've been testing out the new VSCO Film 03 for Lightroom 4 by Visual Supply Co. To be honest today's post (for me) is less about the photos and more about the processing. With any new product it always takes me a little while to figure out my own personal favorites, along with what tweaks that I like to make after the fact. So today's post is mostly about that.
It also serves the purpose of the fact that I'm really tired of winter and freezing and walking around in snow. I took these photos last summer, so in my own way maybe I'm trying to return to that....at least in spirit.

Nice work! I really enjoy following your posts. What presets do you find yourself gravitating to? In VSCO Film 02 I found I used one of the variations of Fuji Superia 800 & 1600 and Kodak Porta 400 VC more often than the rest. While Film 03 is newer, so far I find myself using the cool filters, particularly PX-680 and Polaroid 690. I like the variety Film 03 offers, but I'm struggling not to get the "over-processed" look.
ReplyDeleteThanks for checking out the site Jared. Glad you enjoy it. In the new VSCO Film 03 I've still just been playing with everything to be honest. But in the previous packs I'm with you, I've really enjoyed the Kodak Porta's also. The 690 is cool too.

Hey Eric. I don't remember specifically which preset(s) I used here as I've really just been clicking through them and playing with VSCO Film 03, but I DO remember that all of these were processed with the same thing. Sorry I can't help more!
